We all come from somewhere…I’m no different, and, like you, I love horses.
I started out on hunters, and made my way through the show horse world, racing world, dressage, eventing, and a little of the show jumping world, alongside the Art and Reiki world. None of these worlds are ‘easy’, nor is the world we live in.
At the risk of using a cliché, the ‘school of hard knocks’, along with loyalty to my animal friends yielded a commitment to ignore commercial gain, egotistical gain and ‘power’ gain. My past now informs my mission and mission statement.
Do No Harm.
The disempowering paradigm of power-over has left – in its wake – many broken hearts and broken bodies.
It is apparent that we need to break our own habits, stop looking the other way, stop joining the masses of people who idolize commercialized horse care, breeding and training. We need to live with conviction and fortitude and demonstrate that Kindness is the new Power.
So, I’ve combined my experience as a contemplative trainer, an artist and an energy practitioner to deeply support this content of this site.
With that said, there’s so much a horse owner, lover or enthusiast can learn and do without the influence of businesses and advertisements, celebrities, icons, politics or professionals. I’m not saying these are ‘bad’ sources, I’m merely saying that there’s a vast amount of information you can gain and experience on your own.
I am joined my so many others, and feel so glad and grateful to be able to bring my perspective and my experience to a broader audience.

I am an adherent to the principles brought forth by Dr. HLM van Schaik, who was an incredible horseman and advocate for horses. He was a principal of the Proper sense of Classical training, not the secular view of it. ‘Classical’ has been an exploited word. It is currently not taught as a serious philosophy and practice ‘brought forward’ from the Masters. I’ve since paid for ‘lessons’ by several individuals who not only name-drop the word classical, but call themselves Masters having been influenced by Masters. They in no way adhere to the Art. The horses they ‘train to a high level’ are not ‘light’, but heavy in heart and in contact. Riders curl their pelvis and lean behind vertical, which amplifies an overbearing grip on the reins, upsets the center of gravity, and leverages an ‘over the bit’ carriage. The result is broken energy, communication and potential.
I offer my work as a way to rehabilitate, heal and give physical therapy to horses of all disciplines. I employ everything as I am; an Energy Work practitioner, a Classical Horseman and a seasoned human being to offer you these words and images.
I offer a way for you to become more aware of your own innate abilities, and offer a technique for discovering the ever-changing energy patterns of your horse. Delivering energy with Loving intention is a natural way to help promote relaxation, which subsequently assists in all healing efforts and processes.
